How do I build Performance Max ZIP exclusions in ZipFencer?

Create a location with an exclude-focused mode — donut outer exclude or exclude-only — then export the exclusion ZIP list as Google Ads CSV or paste batches. In Google Ads, apply those ZIPs as location exclusions at the campaign. Performance Max geo is campaign-level; asset-group location assets are not the lever. Revisit weekly with search term and geo reports — ZipFencer does not auto-sync live Ads. Lists use Census ZCTA polygons, which Google may expand slightly, so treat exclusions as a practical bleed control rather than a pixel-perfect fence.

Where do I apply PMax location exclusions in Google Ads?

Apply ZIP exclusions in the Performance Max campaign's location settings, not in the asset group. ZipFencer gives you the ZIP file; Google still enforces Presence versus interest and its own ZIP polygons. Paste batches (auto-split near the 1,000-ZIP paste cap) or upload Editor CSV on Starter and Pro. If an excluded ZIP also appears on an include list, Google's conflict rules win — clean the lists in ZipFencer before you upload. This is a campaign-level control for geo bleed, not a substitute for audience or asset-group setup.
